ProsperOps is now SOC 2 Type II compliant

secure cloud cost optimization

Business software-as-a-service (SaaS) adoption continues to grow rapidly and we believe the advent of AIOps SaaS solutions like ProsperOps will only accelerate this trend. Part of embracing SaaS involves integrating company data with third-party cloud providers. This presents a few challenges: How do you take advantage of SaaS solutions while, at the same time, safeguarding your company’s data? How do you know if a potential cloud vendor has the necessary controls in place (and is following them) to secure and manage access to your data?

This is where compliance comes in. SOC 2 is an American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) framework to validate that organizational controls and practices effectively safeguard the privacy and security of customer data. SOC 2 compliance provides assurance to companies that SaaS providers have proper systems and processes in place to protect their data, as verified by an independent, third-party auditor. SOC 2 is table stakes for many enterprises before they will consider adopting a particular SaaS solution.

ProsperOps is excited to announce that we have achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance. This, along with our recent announcement of broad identity federation support, demonstrates the investments we are making to serve the growing number of enterprises benefiting from ProsperOps autonomous cloud savings outcomes.
