Earlier this year we launched a new Data Export feature, enabling customers and partners to programmatically integrate with ProsperOps data. Since then, we’ve had numerous customers enable Data Export.
Today, we’re expanding our Data Export Savings dataset to include two additional pieces of information:
- Savings dashboard data for AWS RDS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, Redshift, and MemoryDB
- Support for our newly launched RI/SP Only and All Discounts scopes
We can generally include new export data in an additive manner that does not conflict with existing Data Export integrations. For example, when we added RDS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, Redshift, and MemoryDB to Intelligent Showback a few months ago, that data simply flowed into the existing Intelligent Showback export, which customers could immediately consume.
That isn’t the case with the new data we’re adding today. A schema change is required so we’re releasing this data as part of Savings export version 2. Existing Data Export customers will receive both v1 and v2 versions of our Savings export datasets in parallel. We will continue to support v1 and customers can migrate to v2 at their convenience to access the new data. Beginning today, new customers who enable Data Export will only receive a Savings v2 export (i.e. there will be no Savings v1).
