As we conclude the first quarter of 2025, we are excited to share product updates that enhance our commitment to delivering industry-leading, automated cloud cost optimization solutions. Last year we expanded Autonomous Discount Management (ADM) across all three major cloud providers – AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Building on this milestone, our Q1 product updates deepen customer visibility into commitment costs and savings allocations, support Google customers’ second largest cost driver – Cloud SQL on Google Cloud, and streamline ProsperOps data integration capabilities.
From product expansions to new features, let’s review the key ProsperOps product updates of the first quarter of 2025. Read on!
Expanding Intelligent Showback to AWS Data and Analytics Services
ProsperOps’ Intelligent Showback enables you to take the pool of savings our Autonomous Discount Management service generates and proportionally allocate them across the environment. By fairly allocating costs and savings to each resource, you can accurately measure ROI, distribute savings equitably, and benefit from centralized FinOps economies of scale.
This quarter, we expanded Intelligent Showback to support RDS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, MemoryDB, and Redshift, building on its existing capabilities for AWS Compute. ProsperOps customers using ADM for these additional services will automatically see the expanded showback data set in the console.

Autonomous Discount Management for Cloud SQL on Google Cloud in Early Access
We expanded ADM to support Cloud SQL on Google Cloud. You can now automatically optimize spend-based Committed Use Discounts (CUDs) to capture savings without manual intervention. Leveraging our Adaptive Laddering methodology, our platform dynamically distributes commitments over time and adjusts based on changes in usage, safely increasing coverage while maximizing flexibility. If you reduce usage or migrate to another region, ProsperOps automatically adjusts your CUD purchases within the constraints you configured, protecting you from overspending.

Procure ProsperOps through Google Cloud Marketplace
In our ongoing effort to simplify access to our platform, ProsperOps’ Autonomous Discount Management is now available through the Google Cloud Marketplace. Leveraging Google Cloud’s built-in billing infrastructure, this integration streamlines procurement and deployment processes. It enables you to seamlessly incorporate our services into your existing Google Cloud environments and simplify Google Cloud cost management. Even better, any charges for ProsperOps count toward your Google Cloud consumption commitment, maximizing the value of your investments.

Integrating ProsperOps Data Made Easier with Data Export
Data Export provides you the ability to programmatically integrate ProsperOps data into your existing workflows and third-party tools. This feature is available to customers of Autonomous Discount Management for AWS Compute and delivers daily exports of all historical data to an AWS S3 bucket.
You can interact with Data Export files much like you do with the AWS Cost and Usage Report (CUR). No ProsperOps-specific APIs or API keys are required; native AWS permissions and services are leveraged for a frictionless experience.
